*Music Nectar* provides teaching materials and methods for bilingual education, covering teaching philosophies aligned with the national 108 Curriculum Guidelines, as well as essential music teaching theories, skills, music theory knowledge, and appreciation of diverse music required in elementary and junior high school curricula. The book comprises fourteen chapters. Chapter One focuses on the foundations of bilingual music education, emphasizing how to ensure students solidify their music knowledge and skills, further enhancing their musical composition abilities and their capacity for appreciating and analyzing cross-cultural musical works, and introducing the history of music development and major musical genres. Chapter Two compiles commonly used professional subject-specific English vocabulary and classroom terminology in bilingual music education, covering common instrument names, music theory symbols, professional vocabulary for each unit, as well as interactive language, sentence structures, and classroom management phrases for teaching activities, assisting teachers in flexibly using English in the classroom. Chapters Three through Fourteen delve into the content and teaching themes of the Ministry of Education's music education curriculum guidelines, including music theory, aural training, instrument playing techniques, composition and improvisation, appreciation and comparison of different musical styles, genres, and cultures, and methods of student performance, feedback, and self-assessment. Finally, each theme provides bilingual teaching plans that are aligned with competency-based teaching requirements.
