Book Description

This book is divided into three main themes: “Marine Industry Innovation and Development,” “Marine Conservation and Sustainability,” and “Marine Citizenship and Impact.” These topics cover key areas of ocean affairs and reflect the rich variety and depth of marine research, education, and service in Taiwan’s universities. We invited professors from 11 universities across the country to share their studies and practical experiences. Their insights not only show each school’s strengths but also connect with the goals of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development, offering ideas and actions to tackle global ocean issues such as climate change, ecosystem decline, and sustainable use of marine resources.
