This book is a joint effort by Kaohsiung resident writers focusing on crafts and agronomy of mountain tribes. By examining the migration of ethnic groups in the metro Kaohsiung, distribution of industry, and geological and geographical life culture circles as routes, the writers reestablished traditional handicraft culture by targeting crafts that produced living utensils based on natural resource. By using reverse method to trace the origin, they conducted their reporting at close range and observed and analyzed charts that recorded long-term performance and the complex process of familiarizing those crafts.
