In this Sacred Sojourn solo exhibition, the artist Jawshing Arthur Liou fully presents his creative digital works based on Tibet holy land for the first time. In order to coping with the grief from the loss of his daughter, Liou have travelled to Tibet for pilgrimage for a month. The pain of the loss influence his viewpoint of art ever since, and his art work continue to focus on the theme of beyond life and death.
In his three major video works, Kora, Saga Dawa and Zumulanma, readers could sense Liou’s serious attitude to life, and the intention that he want to establish the new art media and the new sense of beauty through photograph and digital production.
