簡介

The purpose of this conference is to establish an international forum on the sharing and discussion of constitutional reengineering experiences of new democracies and Taiwan. The challenging issues facing new democracies such as the choice on government system, human rights protection, judicial review, group identity, and the forms of constitutional reengineering would be the main focuses. With this international dialogue, we hope to bring in international perspective to the discussion of Taiwanese constitutional reengineering and perhaps even more importantly, to make Taiwanese constitutional developments more visible to the international legal community and facilitate further dialogues and exchanges
