Book Description |
The National Taiwan University Library has published four volumes of "Ryuuge Taikan" based on the full-text translation, modern Japanese translation and interpretation compiled by the manuscript of "Ryuugedakan" in its collection. The original manuscript was compiled by Okinawan scholar Makina Anhei. The ballad material covers a period of 456 years from 1461 to 1917. It is an important collection of Ryukyu literature. Through a cooperative project, the National Taiwan University Library worked with a group of scholars from the University of the Ryukyus to transcribe the full text of this batch of historical materials, translate them into modern Japanese, proofread and index them, and write and answer questions. "Ryuuge Grand View" will be published in four volumes (volumes) in different years. The fourth volume (volume) will be published in 2023. It will be reprinted from the collection: (1) "Ryuuge Grand View Volume 4" (Eighteenth Series), "Kyotaro's Song" And "Miyakojima Island Song" (2) "Ryukake Taikan Volume 5" "Yaeyama Island Song". Each collection of ballads is arranged in three sections. The upper section is the original text, the middle section is the Japanese translation, and the lower section is the annotation. At the end of the volume, a "List of Song Titles" is attached for convenience.
