簡介

　　《生命的禮讚》是羅馬尼亞詩人波佩斯古先前出版的數種羅馬尼亞文詩集內，受到翻譯者垂青譯成英文的詩集成。波佩斯古是位熟諳抽象數理邏輯的數學教授，孜孜不倦於抒情詩的創作，其形象思惟的特質值得關注，再加上羅馬尼亞歷史、地理、宗教、政治等特殊背景與發展，在在令人想進一步探索波佩斯古詩中蘊含的隱喻結構。她詩裡透示佛教思惟，以基督教正教為主的羅馬尼亞社會，經過共產主義無神論的洗禮後，對佛教發生興趣，好像有點變化莫測的感覺，則有待有心人繼續探究。
